Château Troplong Mondot is a Premier Grand Cru Classé B estate in Saint-Émilion, Bordeaux, located at the highest point of Saint-Émilion's limestone plateau adjacent to the renowned Château Pavie. The estate's history dates to 1745 when the château was constructed, and its 43-hectare vineyard draws on a complex mosaic of limestone, clay, gravel, and sand soils that yield wines of remarkable depth and structure.

This Bordeaux red is a blend dominated by Merlot alongside Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, fermented and aged in French oak barrels. The wine showcases aromas of dark berries, cassis, black cherries, violets, graphite, and exotic spices, with a full-bodied, velvety palate backed by ripe tannins and bright acidity. Under the direction of estate director Aymeric de Gironde and consulting winemaker Thomas Duclos (since 2017), the style has evolved toward greater finesse, precision, and elegance while retaining the power characteristic of this elevated terroir.

Troplong Mondot has received some of Bordeaux's highest critical acclaim in recent vintages, earning 100-point scores from both Decanter and Wine Enthusiast for the 2019 and 2020 vintages. The "(IX)" designation refers to a curated vertical collection of nine distinct vintages, offering collectors a rare opportunity to experience the evolution of this iconic estate across multiple years.
