Château Tour Saint Christophe is a prestigious red Bordeaux wine from the Saint-Émilion appellation on the Right Bank of Bordeaux, France. The estate was acquired in 2012 by Peter Kwok and his daughter Karen, and was elevated to Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Classé status in the 2022 official classification of the region.
The vineyard is situated on the plateau at the boundary of the villages of Saint-Émilion and Saint-Christophe-des-Bardes, planted on a chalky-clay terroir rich in limestone, flint, and chalk sedimentary fragments. The property is distinguished by its historic 18th-century dry-stone terraces — roughly 1.5 km of which have been painstakingly restored by hand — which provide optimal sunlight exposure and natural drainage. The average vine age is 30 years.
The wine is a classic Right Bank blend of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc, aged in 25% new French oak barrels. It consistently earns outstanding critical scores — including 96 points from both James Suckling and Jeb Dunnuck, 94 from both Vinous and Decanter, and 93+ from Robert Parker's Wine Advocate. Reviewers describe notes of dark blackberries, cassis, black olives, spice, cocoa, and licorice, with fine powdery tannins, a layered mouthfeel, and a long, flavorful finish. The wine is suitable for drinking 3–5 years after vintage and can be cellared for 15 or more years.
