Riviera Wine Company Sauvignon Blanc is a California white wine sourced from the Happy Canyon of Santa Barbara AVA, the warmest and most inland growing area of Santa Barbara County. Founded in 2020 by renowned winemaker Doug Margerum — also known for his acclaimed Margerum Wine Company label — Riviera was conceived to deliver expressive, high-quality wine at an accessible price point.

Happy Canyon is uniquely suited to Bordeaux varieties like Sauvignon Blanc, where warmer temperatures produce a richer, more textured style than the cool-climate Pinot Noir for which Santa Barbara is typically known. The wine is very pale in color and presents aromas of apple skin, pear flesh, and wet stone on the nose. On the palate it is grippy in texture with light peach and jasmine flavors, balanced by a lively core of acidity. Previous vintages have shown lemon grass, citrus, and melon notes with a near-creamy finish.
