Raimbault-Pineau Sancerre Cuvée Exception is a 100% Sauvignon Blanc from the prestigious Sancerre appellation in the eastern Loire Valley of France. Domaine Raimbault-Pineau is located in the heart of Sury-en-Vaux and is now helmed by the 13th generation of the family, Sonia Raimbault. The estate's iconic terroir features soils dating back to the Cretaceous and Jurassic eras, 100 to 150 million years in the making, across three distinct soil types: Caillottes (calcareous and rocky, producing fine and fruity wines), Terres Blanches (clay and shells adding complexity), and Silex (siliceous sedimentary rock imparting smoky aromas and elegant minerality).

This Cuvée Exception is a rich and powerful expression of the appellation, offering a persistent finish full of fruit and herbal aromas including blackcurrant leaf, white flowers, and citrus.
