The 1442 Organic Rosé is an elegant, certified organic wine from the Côteaux d'Aix-en-Provence appellation in southern France. Its distinct peachy-pink hue is matched by an expressive aromatic profile of rose hips, white lavender, fresh strawberry, and pink guava — refined yet generous, and enjoyable year-round.
The wine is a blend of 30% Grenache, 30% Mourvèdre, 15% Cinsault, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Syrah, and 5% Rolle. The estate's vineyard parcels sit between 200 and 300 meters above sea level on sun-drenched clay-limestone hillsides and shaded valley floors, creating a terroir of exceptional biodiversity carefully maintained under strict organic standards.
The vineyard's history traces back to 1442, when Guillaume de Damian, an Avignon resident, acquired the lordship of Vernègues in the heart of Provence. Successive generations have cultivated the land to allow the vines to fully express their terroir. Imported by Webster Barnes LLC of Boynton Beach, Florida. Each case contains 12 bottles of 750ml.
