Joto Yuzu "The Citrus One" is a Japanese sake crafted by the Izumo Fuji Brewery in the town of Izumo, Shimane Prefecture. Founded in 1939 and managed by the third generation of the Imaoka family, this brewery brings generations of tradition to this distinctive expression. The base is a junmai ginjo sake blended with the juice of locally grown yuzu fruit to create a refreshing and uniquely Japanese citrus beverage.

Yuzu is a prized Japanese citrus fruit celebrated for its complex character, delivering the sweet and tart qualities of mandarin orange, Meyer lemon, and Key lime. Blended with sake, Joto Yuzu achieves a delicious balance of sweetness and acidity. On the palate, expect pronounced tartness with vivid notes of Meyer lemon and mandarin orange, finishing with a satisfying tart-sweet interplay. This expression earned a Gold Medal and 91 Points at the San Francisco International Wine Competition.
