The Château Latour 1985–2014 Vertical Collector's Set is an extraordinary limited-release collection comprising 30 individual 750ml bottles, one from each consecutive vintage spanning 1985 through 2014. Château Latour holds First Growth (Premier Cru Classé) status in the Pauillac appellation of Bordeaux, France — one of only five such designations in the entire Bordeaux classification — and is regarded as one of the most prestigious wine estates in the world.
A vertical collection of this scope is coveted by collectors and connoisseurs for the opportunity to trace the evolution of a single estate's expression across three decades of distinct growing seasons, climate conditions, and winemaking decisions. Older vintages from the late 1980s and 1990s are increasingly difficult to source individually, making this assembled set exceptionally rare. The per-bottle cost works out to approximately $1,266.63 at the listed retail price of $37,999.99.
This is a presale-only item available exclusively in California through the Costco Burbank Business Center in North Hollywood. Acquiring the set requires contacting Costco staff directly via email, paying the full amount upfront, and coordinating pickup at the Burbank location. The item is non-refundable and all sales are final.
