Sloan Asterisk is the second label from Sloan Estate, a prestigious winery founded in 1997 by Stuart Sloan on 40 acres in the eastern hills of Rutherford in Napa Valley, at elevations between 875 and 990 feet. This Proprietary Red Blend is a Bordeaux-style wine crafted primarily from Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes grown on the estate.

The wine is known for its rich, fruit-forward character with the depth and structure typical of Napa Valley Bordeaux blends. It carries an alcohol content of approximately 15% and contains sulfites. It pairs beautifully with beef, lamb, poultry, and game meats such as venison.
