Laoban Ginger Chicken Soup Dumplings are premium frozen soup dumplings crafted by the Washington, D.C.-based Laoban Dumplings company, founded by Michelin-awarded chef Tim Ma. Each 24 oz bag contains approximately 30 soup dumplings filled with all-natural, free-range chicken, fresh ginger, and a savory aromatic broth encased in a hand-folded wrapper made from scratch. No artificial ingredients and no preservatives.
Laoban means "boss" in Chinese, and Laoban Dumplings pays homage to the bosses of Chinese dumpling shops. The ginger chicken flavor is the brand's best-selling variety, celebrated for its sweet, zesty, and gingery profile. To prepare, steam dumplings in a lined steamer over boiling water for 12 minutes for optimal juicy results, or pan-fry over medium-high heat with a splash of water, covering for 5 minutes, then uncovering to brown for an additional 5 minutes.
