The Mazzei Concerto di Fonterutoli is a landmark Super Tuscan red wine from the Chianti Classico zone of Tuscany, Italy, first produced in 1981 as one of the pioneering wines of the Super Tuscan movement. It is a proprietary blend of 80% Sangiovese and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, crafted by the historic Marchesi Mazzei family at Castello di Fonterutoli.

The wine is aged 18 months in French oak — large tonneaux for the Sangiovese component and smaller barriques for the Cabernet Sauvignon — followed by three months in concrete tanks. The result is a full-bodied, velvety wine with a brilliant ruby-garnet color. The bouquet offers ripe red berries (cherry and raspberry), violet, spice, tobacco, and cedar. On the palate, flavors of crushed blackberries, raspberries, vanilla, cocoa, and espresso are framed by silky tannins and bright acidity, finishing long with a touch of minerality.
