Solar de Becquer Crianza is a classic Rioja wine from Bodegas Familia Escudero, a family winery producing award-winning wines and cavas since 1852. This blend of 70% Tempranillo, 20% Mazuelo, and 10% Garnacha is crafted from hand-harvested grapes grown on the Cuesta la Reina estate, a sun-facing hillside with poor soils that have been cultivated by the family for four generations.

The wine is fermented in stainless steel tanks using indigenous yeast, then macerated for at least 10 days. It ages for a minimum of 14 months in American oak barrels averaging 5 years old, with three rackings during aging, followed by at least 6 months of bottle aging before release. The alcohol content is 13.5–14% by volume.

Bright ruby red in color, it offers clean, complex aromas of red and black fruit well integrated with fine oak tones. On the palate it is balanced, structured, and tasty with great character and long persistence. Gold Medal winner at the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles 2019. Best served at 16–18°C alongside semi-aged cheeses, red meat, roasts, stews, and game.
