Jefferson's Tropics Aged in Humidity is a Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey crafted through a remarkable aging experiment by Jefferson's Bourbon founder Trey Zoeller. In July 2019, 720 barrels of fully matured Kentucky straight bourbon were shipped to Singapore, where they aged for 18 months in non-climate-controlled facilities exposed to Singapore's extreme tropical heat (average 82°F) and humidity (average 83.9%). The barrels returned to Kentucky in March 2023, bearing the results of this intensive tropical maturation.

The extreme heat and humidity dramatically accelerated the interaction between the bourbon and the oak barrel, creating intense caramelization and a deeply concentrated flavor profile. Bottled at a robust 104 proof (52% ABV), the whiskey delivers traditional bourbon aromas of caramel, vanilla, light pepper, and leather alongside a distinctive savory-fruity character. On the palate, flavors of light tobacco, caramel, and baking spices emerge with a creamy mouthfeel and notes of bright summer fruit. The finish is long and complex, with cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, refined tobacco, dry leather, and sweet brown sugar. The bottle features a silk-screen image of Singapore with the city's coordinates and humidity levels noted.
