The Eton FRX3+ is a rugged, multi-powered AM/FM/NOAA weather alert radio built for emergency preparedness and outdoor use. It receives all standard AM and FM stations as well as all 7 NOAA/Environment Canada weather bands, with an alert function that automatically broadcasts urgent weather alerts. A DSP digital tuner ensures clear reception, while a backlit blue LCD display shows the time via the built-in digital clock with alarm.

The radio offers three flexible power options to keep you connected in any situation: a built-in solar panel for continuous outdoor charging, a rechargeable 3.7V 2600 mAh lithium battery topped off via the included micro-USB cable, and a hand crank that delivers 10–15 minutes of playback after just four minutes of cranking. The onboard USB output port can charge most smartphones or tablets to greater than 50% capacity from the internal battery.

For audio versatility, the unit includes a 3.5mm headphone jack for private listening and an auxiliary input jack for connecting external devices. Safety and visibility features include a bright LED flashlight, a red flashing LED emergency beacon, glow-in-the-dark locator markings, and illuminated buttons for use in low-light or dark conditions.
