Thistledown Gorgeous Grenache is a red wine from South Australia, crafted by Thistledown Wines, a label founded in 2010 by Master of Wine Giles Cooke with a focus on old-vine Grenache from some of South Australia's most iconic sites.

Sourced from a selection of old vineyards across the Riverland and McLaren Vale — including dry-grown bush vines — the grapes are vinified in small batches using wild fermentation with whole bunch inclusion, larger oak vessels, and no filtration or fining. The result is an aromatic, deceptively light red with beautiful wild fruit and slurpy, supple tannins. The palate is layered and textural, showing wild strawberry and spice. Suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

The wine has earned consistent critical acclaim across multiple vintages, including 90-point ratings from Wine Enthusiast (with a Best Buy designation), Robert Parker's Wine Advocate, James Suckling, Halliday Wine Companion, Decanter, and Wine Spectator, among others.
