Red Car Wine Company's Sonoma Coast Chardonnay is a premium California white wine crafted by a small farming and winemaking operation based in Sebastopol, rooted in some of the most distinctive coastal AVAs in California. The winery was founded with a dedication to producing site-specific, balanced wines from vineyards all within 10 miles of the Pacific Ocean, including the acclaimed Fort Ross-Seaview appellation.

This Chardonnay is a blend of select clones and blocks from multiple vineyards, including the acclaimed Zephyr Farms and Mohrhardt Ridge sites. The wine is fermented in French oak barrels and aged on lees, spending approximately 10 months in 25% new and 75% neutral French oak. The result is a wine with racy acidity, rich texture, and a strong mineral presence reflecting its unique coastal terroir. Tasting notes include lemon zest, wet stone, chamomile, fresh citrus, and a hint of butterscotch with a creamy mouthfeel. The wine finishes dry and long with excellent balance. It has earned critical acclaim in the 91–93 point range and carries an alcohol level around 13.5%.
