Master Blender John Rhea of Kentucky Owl partnered with Scotch Whisky Master Blender Maureen Robinson to create a blend that bridges the traditions of Kentucky bourbon and Scottish whisky craftsmanship. The name "Maighstir" is the Scottish Gaelic word for "master," a fitting tribute to this meeting of masters.

Bottled at 50% ABV (100 proof), this straight bourbon opens with layered aromas of vanilla, toasted oak, and caramel. On the palate, it delivers a bold and complex profile featuring dark fruit, cinnamon, and black pepper. The finish is long and warming, balancing lingering spice with a subtle underlying sweetness.
