The Depth app displays current depth, water temperature, dive duration, and maximum depth; the Oceanic+ app (subscription required) turns the watch into a full dive computer.

Health and safety sensors include ECG, a third-generation optical heart sensor, an electrical heart sensor, a temperature sensor, a depth gauge accurate to ±1m, a water temperature sensor, a compass, an always-on altimeter, a high-g accelerometer, a high dynamic range gyroscope, and an ambient light sensor. Fall Detection and Crash Detection can automatically connect to emergency services in the event of a hard fall or severe car crash. Holding the customizable Action button activates a built-in siren audible up to 600 feet away for emergency signaling. This model does not include the Blood Oxygen app.

Battery life delivers up to 36 hours of normal use and up to 72 hours in Low Power Mode. Fast charging reaches approximately 80% in about one hour.
