Jayone Oval Rice Cakes are traditional Korean tteokguk tteok (쌀떡국떡) — pre-sliced, oval-shaped rice cakes used in Korean rice cake soup. Made in the Republic of Korea and distributed by Jayone Foods, this 70.4 oz bulk package contains approximately 14 servings of firm, chewy rice cakes ideal for soups, stir-fries, and traditional Korean dishes.
To prepare, rinse the rice cakes in cold water and drain, then add to boiling broth. Once they float, boil for an additional 3 minutes, then transfer to a bowl with your choice of toppings such as roasted seaweed, egg, or green onion. Keep refrigerated after opening and do not freeze. A moisture-absorbing packet is included inside the packaging for freshness — do not eat it.
