Smoke Wagon Rye Private Barrel is a straight rye whiskey produced by Nevada H&C Distilling Co. and sourced from Indiana. These are hand-selected individual barrels that didn't fit the profile for their standard Malted Rye or Rare and Limited releases, yet were too good to blend away — each barrel is unique and showcases the richness and complexity of Smoke Wagon's rye program.

The mash bill is 51% rye, 45% corn, and 4% malted barley, aged a minimum of 4 years. Bottled at cask strength, ABV varies by barrel. Barrels are personally selected by owners and head blender Aaron Chepenik of Nevada H&C Distilling Co.

Tasting notes: nose of heavy rye spice with hints of vanilla, caramel, and toasted oak. The palate is rich and spicy with notes of honey, black pepper, and butterscotch. The finish is long and warming with lingering spice and sweet oak. Sold in a case of 6 x 750ML bottles.
