Hérésie is a bold red blend from acclaimed Languedoc producer Gérard Bertrand, sourced from the AOP Corbières appellation in the South of France. The name evokes the history of the knights of the region, and the wine is crafted from emblematic terroirs meticulously selected for their character: dry hillsides for the Mourvèdre and Grenache, and cooler hillside plots for the Syrah.

The wine presents a deep purple-red color and a beautifully complex nose of red fruits, dried herbs, and spices. Syrah contributes vibrant fruit and spice aromas while Mourvèdre adds earthy notes of licorice and garrigue. On the palate it is medium-bodied with juicy fruit, great freshness, and velvety tannins leading to a long, elegant finish with hints of citrus zest and minerality. The 2020 vintage earned a Gold medal at the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles and Gold at the Sélections Mondiales des Vins Canada. Alcohol content is 14%.
