Copenhagen Bakery & Cafe has been a San Francisco Bay Area institution since 1977, located at 1216 Burlingame Avenue in Burlingame. The bakery is renowned for its authentic Danish pastries, custom specialty cakes, and made-from-scratch cooking philosophy. Signature items include their famous Princess Cake, Romanoff, Niagara Falls Cake, and traditional Danish pastries baked fresh daily. Everything is prepared in-house, from the freshly baked breads to the turkey in their sandwiches, which is cooked on site.

The full-service cafe offers breakfast and lunch, including waffles, French toast, omelets, hearty sandwiches, soups, and specialty salads. Custom cakes can be ordered for weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, and other special occasions. The bakery is open Monday through Saturday 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM and Sunday 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
