NARCAN Naloxone HCl Nasal Spray is an FDA-approved, over-the-counter emergency treatment for known or suspected opioid overdose in adults and children. Naloxone works as an opioid antagonist, quickly reversing the effects of an overdose by binding to opioid receptors and restoring normal breathing when respiration has slowed or stopped. This 2-pack contains two single-dose nasal spray devices, each delivering a 4mg dose of naloxone hydrochloride. The spray can be administered by caregivers, personnel, or bystanders without requiring a prescription or medical training.
