The Estate Cabernet Sauvignon is assembled from a range of blocks across the property, blending multiple soil types and clonal selections into a single complex wine. The red wines age for 20 months in French oak before bottling. Recent vintages have featured blends of Cabernet Sauvignon with Cabernet Franc, grown in Cortina gravel and Pleasanton loam soils. Tasting notes typically include warm cassis, baked plums, boysenberries, and menthol, with hints of espresso, graphite, and tar. The wine is medium to full-bodied with well-knit acidity.
