The Hearach is the first historic single malt Scotch whisky produced by the Isle of Harris Distillery, located on the Isle of Harris in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland. Its creation marks a revival of whisky-making tradition on the island, a craft lost since the Pabbay clearances of the 1840s.

Distilled from Scottish Concerto barley and lightly peated at approximately 12–15 ppm, The Hearach is matured in a combination of first-fill ex-bourbon barrels, ex-Oloroso sherry casks, and ex-Fino sherry casks. The whisky is bottled at 46% ABV and is non-chill filtered, preserving its natural character and texture. Each batch is carefully crafted to reflect the rugged, windswept landscape of the Outer Hebrides.

The Hearach delivers a complex and layered flavor profile with notes of coastal brine, honey, dried fruits, vanilla, and a gentle smokiness. Its non-chill filtered production ensures a rich mouthfeel and full expression of its cask maturation. This expression represents the living spirit of Harris — a community-owned distillery with deep roots in its island home.
