The Colorado Blue Spruce (Picea pungens) is a classic American evergreen tree prized for its striking silvery-blue to steel-blue needles and symmetrical, pyramidal form. Colorado Blue Spruce is exceptionally cold-hardy (USDA Zones 2–7) and tolerates a wide range of soil conditions, making it one of the most adaptable conifers available. It grows at a moderate pace of 12–24 inches per year, ultimately reaching 30–60 feet tall and 10–20 feet wide at maturity.
