The Arborist is a bold, artful red blend crafted by Vina Robles, sourced exclusively from six SIP Certified (Sustainability in Practice) vineyards in Paso Robles, California. The wine is composed primarily of Syrah, Petite Sirah, and Grenache—varieties grown in the Huerhuero Vineyard, located in the rolling hills directly behind the winery, where warm afternoons and cool evening breezes shepherd the grapes to ideal ripeness.

The fruit for each lot is harvested during cooler morning hours and cold soaked for two days before fermentation. Progressive pump-over techniques enhance fruit extraction and balance tannin structure. The wine is then aged for 18 months in both small and large-format French, Hungarian, and American oak barrels, cultivating complexity and a soft, velvety finish.

On the nose, The Arborist presents bright, fruit-forward aromas of black fruit, plum, and strawberry with suggestions of mocha and fine tobacco. The palate reveals a luscious, juicy texture with flavors of brambleberry, blueberry, dark stone fruits, and vanilla cream with hints of cedar. Notes of pepper spice join fleshy tannins on a fine, lively finish. This approachable blend pairs excellently with cheddar cheeseburgers, pasta Bolognese, short ribs, sautéed mushrooms, and grilled eggplant.

Named in tribute to the caretakers of nature, The Arborist is committed to environmental stewardship: a portion of the proceeds from every bottle sold goes toward reforestation efforts in partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation, with contributions helping to plant over 42,000 trees to date.
