Springbank 21 Year Old is a legendary Campbeltown single malt Scotch whisky aged for 21 years in used bourbon casks. Produced at one of only two distilleries in Scotland to perform every step of the whiskey making process on the same premises, from malting barley to bottling. The whisky is distilled 2.5 times and aged in the coastal Campbeltown peninsula, where perennial sea winds warmed by the gulf stream add a subtle saltiness to the spirit.

This exceptional dram offers unbelievable complexity with an aroma of heather, plums, peaches, and apricots. The palate reveals notes of caramelised fruit, raisins, cassis, cinnamon, vanilla, oak, and honey, balanced with a slight oaky dryness and hints of wood smoke and the sea. The finish is very long and spectacular, with hints of aniseed, raisin sweetness, and a salty tang. Bottled at 46% ABV (92 proof) without chill filtration, preserving its full character and natural oils.

Springbank Distillery was founded in 1828 on the site of Archibald Mitchell's illicit still in Campbeltown. The barley is malted and lightly peated using locally cut peat, then milled and mashed in cast-iron mash tuns nearly a century old. Pure spring water sourced from Crosshill Loch, fed by springs from the northern slopes of Beinn Ghuilean, is used throughout the process. The wash undergoes one of Scotland's longest fermentation periods at 70 hours before distillation.
