Indri DRU is a cask strength single malt whisky from Piccadily Distilleries in Northern India, bottled at 57.2% ABV. Selected ex-Bourbon barrels are handpicked and carefully married together by the master blender to craft this bold and complex expression. The name "DRU" is rooted in Sanskrit, meaning "wood," "tree," or "a vessel made of wood" — in ancient Indian mythology, Dru was the vessel in which soma, a sacred drink, was collected and offered to the Gods.

Distilled and matured in Northern India's subtropical climate, Indri DRU loses 10 to 12% to evaporation annually — an exceptionally high angel's share that accelerates maturation and concentrates flavor. On the nose, it offers exhilarating notes of mixed fruit, vanilla, spice, chocolate, and honey, alongside bruleed hints of flamed orange peel, kindling wood, poached pear, and fire-roasted marshmallow. The palate is sweet and fruit-forward with soft spice, vanilla, chocolate, wood lactones, and citrus twists, evolving into stewed sweet oranges, mulled golden pears, and ginger-spiced molasses. The finish is long and complex, with lingering mixed fruit character.

Bottled at cask strength without dilution, this limited expression has earned critical acclaim with 93 points from both Wine Advocate and the Ultimate Spirits Challenge, and 90 points from the International Wine & Spirit Competition.
