Siete Leguas Reposado is a 100% Blue Weber Agave tequila produced at the historic Tequila Siete Leguas distillery (NOM 1120) in Atotonilco el Alto, in the Los Altos highlands of Jalisco, Mexico. This 700mL bottle is a blend drawn from Fabrica el Centenario and Fabrica La Vencedora, two production facilities operating under the same legendary brand. The agave piñas are cooked in traditional stone and brick ovens, extracted using both tahona wheel and roller mill methods, and fermented through open-air techniques in stainless steel tanks using natural spring water. The spirit is double-distilled in copper pot stills.

After distillation, the tequila is aged for 8 months in used American white oak bourbon barrels, yielding a pale amber color and a richly layered character. The nose opens with cooked agave, toasted oak, sweet potato, baked apple, black pepper, vanilla, and citrus. On the palate it is smooth and well balanced, with sweet cooked agave, herbal qualities, caramel, vanilla, spearmint, and fresh citrus notes, carried by a warm spice from barrel influence. The finish is medium-long, delivering agave sweetness, earthy oak, cinnamon, and baking spice with no harsh bitterness.

At 40% ABV (80 proof), Siete Leguas Reposado is widely regarded as a benchmark for traditional, agave-forward reposado tequila and represents outstanding value at its price point.
