Syrah is a California red wine crafted from a blend of several top-tier vineyard sources including Hudson in Napa Valley, Bien Nacido, White Hawk, Nolan in Santa Barbara County, Griffin's Lair, Alder Springs, Weill, Shake Ridge, Bedrock, and Walker Vine Hill. This entry-level Syrah is co-fermented with 8% Viognier and approximately 40-50% whole clusters, then aged in neutral oak puncheons and foudres for 14 months.

The 2022 vintage offers a rich, ample, and vibrant profile with a beguiling mix of dark red-toned fruit, mint, blood orange, spice, licorice, and pomegranate. The wine opens with soaring violet perfume and wafts of blackcurrant, pepper, mint chocolate, and charcuterie. The medium-bodied palate delivers floral flavors structured by rounded tannins and juicy acidity, with a long, easygoing finish. Generous and zesty, with lively black raspberry, fruitcake spices, and smoked pepper flavors that linger nicely toward refined tannins.
