Glenmorangie A Tale of Tokyo is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky that captures the sensory contrasts of Tokyo itself, combining bright, bold flavors with soft sweetness. Created by Master Distiller Dr. Bill Lumsden, this limited-edition expression was inspired by his fascination with Tokyo's culture, fashion, and food, along with his decade-long search to source casks from Japan's rare Mizunara oak tree.

The whisky unites Glenmorangie spirit part-aged in Mizunara oak casks with whisky matured in both Sherry and Bourbon casks, producing a uniquely balanced and complex flavor profile. Tasting notes include notes of pepper, bitter cherries, mouth-watering orange zest, incense, and sweet oak — reflecting the multi-dimensional, contradictory nature of Tokyo itself. This expression earned a Double Gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2023.
