El Tesoro Añejo Mundial Collection: Knob Creek Edition is a limited-edition tequila crafted by Master Distiller Carlos Camarena at La Alteña Distillery in Jalisco, Mexico. This 750ml bottle is part of the El Tesoro Mundial Collection, a series celebrating artisanal craftsmanship through collaborations with renowned distilleries around the world.

The Knob Creek Edition is a unique expression of El Tesoro Añejo, aged for 12 months in genuine charred-oak Knob Creek Rye Whiskey barrels that previously held Knob Creek Rye Whiskey for seven years. This is the first and only time El Tesoro has been finished in Knob Creek Rye barrels, producing a tequila that is perfectly balanced with subtle sweetness and spice. It is crafted from 100% hand-selected blue Weber agave and bottled at 80 proof (40% ABV).

The tequila presents a wheat-brown color with golden tones and is full-bodied. On the nose, expect cooked agave, peaches, bread, vanilla, caramel, pineapple, apple, cinnamon, leather, and delicate floral notes. The palate features cooked agave, black pepper, cinnamon, dark chocolate, vanilla, and orange peel, with notes of oak and spices. The finish is long and persistent, with lingering oak, spice, and mineral notes.
