The Archery Summit Vireton Pinot Noir is an acclaimed red wine from Oregon's prestigious Willamette Valley, produced by one of the region's most celebrated estates. The Vireton is Archery Summit's appellation-level Pinot Noir, crafted from select Willamette Valley grapes to showcase the expressive character of this world-renowned growing region.
On the nose, the wine delivers abundant spice alongside lush, ripe raspberries and dark chocolate, with notes of cherry, plum, and sweet-scented florals. The palate is bountiful and layered, offering generous flavors of earth, caramel, chocolate, and juicy red fruit, all balanced by a light but precise acidity. The finish is lengthy and memorable, underscoring the hallmark elegance of Willamette Valley Pinot Noir.
Rated 93 points by Wine Spectator, described as "plush and elegantly detailed, with expressive rose petal, raspberry and brown baking spice accents that glide on the long, supple finish." James Suckling awarded 92 points, noting "sour cherries and redcurrants with pomegranate skins, cardamom and dusty soil undertones" with "attractive tension and toned acidity." Wine Enthusiast praised its "smoothest texture," black cherry and dried strawberry aromas joined by cherry cola and dark chocolate flavors.
