Eden Rift Estate Chardonnay is a premium California white wine sourced from the historic Cienega Valley AVA on California's Central Coast. The vineyard sits atop the San Andreas Fault at the foothills of the Gavilan Mountain Range, where limestone-rich, calcareous soils over granitic sandy loam create a distinctive terroir ideally suited to Chardonnay. The estate has been under vine since 1849, making it one of the oldest continuously cultivated vineyard sites in California.

This estate Chardonnay is whole-cluster pressed and barrel fermented on native yeasts, undergoes 100% malolactic fermentation, and is aged in 100% French oak barrels for 11 months. The Chardonnay plantings draw from Calera, Wente 4 and 72, and Dijon clone 76 selections across 22.5 acres.
