Château Ascension is a classic right-bank Bordeaux from the prestigious Saint-Émilion Grand Cru appellation in Libournais, France. The 2020 vintage is a traditional Bordeaux blend of 75% Merlot and 25% Cabernet Franc, bottled at 13.5% ABV.

The wine pours a deep, dark ruby in the glass. On the nose, it offers earthy, oaky aromas with notes of dark fruit, mushroom, tar, rose petal, cherry, and leather. On the palate, it is medium-bodied with bright, lively acidity and flavors of black cherry, raspberry, and plum. The finish is clean and moderately long, with notes of vanilla and oak.
