El Pino Club Funky Jory Pinot Noir is a 100% Pinot Noir from the Dundee Hills AVA in Oregon's Willamette Valley. The grapes are grown on the estate vineyard in red Jory soils — a basalt-based volcanic soil rich in nutrients and high in clay content that imparts high acidity, softer tannins, and a red-fruit character to the wine.

This wine opens with complex aromatics of black cherry, mulberry, sandalwood, and a touch of baking spice from the sparing use of new French oak barrels. The finish is silky and long, typical of Dundee Hills Pinot Noir. It is aged for 16 months in French oak barrels (20% new) from Sylvain, Rousseau, and Ermitage cooperages, using clones 115, Wadenswil, and Pommard. Alcohol is 14.5%.
