Bottled at 49.1% ABV (98.2 proof) in a 700ml bottle, this expression represents one of Mortlach's most prestigious and coveted releases, with only 350 bottles produced annually.

The whisky undergoes initial maturation in American and European oak barrels before finishing in three distinct cask types: Bordeaux wine casks, Calvados casks, and Guatemalan rum casks. These are then married together in custom quarter casks. Mortlach is renowned for its unique 2.81x distillation process, which imparts an unmatched richness and depth characteristic of the distillery's spirit.

On the nose, it offers savory and herbal notes with hints of vanilla and spice alongside a vinous undercurrent. The palate reveals wine-soaked apples, baking spices, black pepper, mint chocolate, and dried fruit.
