Dancing Crow Cabernet Sauvignon is a full-bodied red wine crafted from sustainably grown grapes in Lake County, California. Produced by Dancing Crow Vineyards, a small, family-owned winery founded in 2013 by Tony Cartlidge and Sarah Forni-Cartlidge, the label draws on a shared California winemaking legacy spanning four generations going back to the late 1800s.
The Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from the Old Stake 1901 property in the Kelsey Bench AVA, situated at 1,400 feet elevation. Volcanic soils, rust-colored mineral deposits, and cool afternoon mountain winds combine to produce beautifully balanced, elegantly refined red wine. On the nose, the wine highlights the power and character of Lake County, with aromas of ripe cherry and plump, fresh fig. The palate delivers flavors of purple plum and wild raspberry, culminating in cocoa-like tannins and a hint of milk chocolate on the long, smooth finish.
Critically acclaimed with 93 points from Wine Enthusiast, 93 points from The Tasting Panel, and 90 points from James Suckling, this wine over-delivers for its price. All Dancing Crow vineyard acreage is 100% certified sustainable.
