Great Notion Ripe IPA is an award-winning hazy IPA from Great Notion Brewing, a craft brewery founded in Portland, Oregon in 2015 with taprooms in Portland, Seattle, Berkeley, and Sacramento. This Costco pack includes four 16 oz cans sourced from their Seattle location.

Ripe is the flagship beer that put Great Notion on the map. It is generously dry hopped with Citra and Citra Lupomax hops, delivering a juicy wave of citrus and tropical fruit. The palate is dominated by notes of mandarin, mango, and papaya with a soft, hazy body characteristic of the Pacific Northwest New England-style IPA. At 7.0% ABV and 55 IBU, Ripe strikes a balance between bold hop character and approachable drinkability.

Ripe has inspired an entire family of variants — including Over Ripe, Mango Ripe, Super Ripe, and West Coast Ripe — but the original remains the brewery's most celebrated release and a benchmark hazy IPA on the West Coast.
