The Sony HT-A5000 is a premium 5.1.2 channel Dolby Atmos soundbar that delivers immersive surround sound from a single unit. It features two up-firing speakers for overhead audio, two beam tweeters for wider surround, three front speakers for clear dialogue, and a built-in dual subwoofer for deep bass. The 9-channel digital amplifier with S-Master HX technology provides 450W of total power output.

This soundbar supports both Dolby Atmos and DTS:X for three-dimensional audio, along with Sony's proprietary technologies including S-Force PRO Front Surround, Vertical Surround Engine, and 360 Spatial Sound Mapping for room calibration. DSEE Extreme uses AI to upscale compressed audio in real-time for enhanced music playback. High-Resolution Audio and 360 Reality Audio are fully supported.

The HT-A5000 includes HDMI 2.1 with eARC, supporting 8K and 4K/120Hz passthrough, Dolby Vision, HDR, VRR, and ALLM for the latest gaming consoles including PlayStation 5.
