Kirkland Signature USDA Choice Beef Loin T-Bone Steak is a premium cut that features both a New York strip and tenderloin filet separated by a distinctive T-shaped bone. This choice-grade steak delivers excellent marbling and rich beefy flavor at a competitive price point. The dual-muscle composition provides two distinct textures and flavors in one cut, making it a favorite for grilling enthusiasts.
For best results, thaw steaks in the refrigerator for at least 24 hours and bring to room temperature 30-40 minutes before cooking. Trim exterior fat to 1/4-inch to prevent flare-ups. Season generously with salt and let rest for optimal searing. Grill using a two-zone method: sear over high heat (450-500°F) for 1-2 minutes per side, then move to lower heat to finish. Check temperature in both the strip and filet portions, as the tenderloin cooks faster. For medium-rare, remove at 130°F internal temperature and rest 5-7 minutes; carryover cooking will bring it to 135°F.
