Mario & Luigi: Brothership is a role-playing video game developed by Acquire and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch. It is the sixth installment in the beloved Mario & Luigi series and marks a milestone as the first entry in the franchise released on a home console.

The game follows Mario and Luigi as they are swept through a mysterious portal alongside residents of the Mushroom Kingdom into the world of Concordia. A dark force known as Glohm is separating the islands of Concordia and isolating its inhabitants, and the brothers must work together to reunite the fractured land. Players explore the island-hopping world of Concordia, solving puzzles, completing quests, and meeting colorful new characters along the way.

Combat is turn-based, requiring players to control both brothers in tandem with timed button inputs to attack enemies and defend against incoming blows. The cooperative brother mechanics that define the series are expanded to the larger Nintendo Switch canvas, with new Bros. Attacks and abilities that take advantage of the hardware. The game supports single-player and includes content suited for players of all ages.
