The front camera offers a 120-degree field of view while the interior camera provides 130-degree coverage.

The T402 includes AI-powered driver assistance with adaptive learning technology that automatically calibrates and improves accuracy over time. Safety features include Forward Collision Warning, Lane Departure Warning, Pedestrian Detection, and Stop & Go Reminder that alerts when the car ahead moves in traffic. The smart G-Sensor automatically locks and saves video clips upon detecting sudden impact.

The device features a 2.4-inch display, built-in GPS for tracking location, speed, and route data, and 2.4GHz Wi-Fi connectivity (up to 10 feet range) for instant footage access via the Type S Drive app. It includes Parking Surveillance Mode that records when motion or impact is detected while parked (requires USB-C hardwiring kit).
