Garage Wine Co. Cabernet Franc is a premium boutique red wine from Chile, crafted by husband-and-wife team Derek Mossmann Knapp and Pilar Miranda, who founded the winery in 2003 out of a garage in the Maipo region. The winery sources grapes from select single-vineyard sites across central Chile, including the Pirque DO in Maipo and the Loncomilla Valley in Maule, with a focus on artisanal, low-intervention winemaking.

Fermentation is carried out naturally using only native yeasts, without the addition of chemicals, and grapes are hand-pressed using small, old-style basket presses. The wine sees minimal wood exposure. The Cabernet Franc expresses classic varietal character with aromas of blackcurrant, Bing cherry, Italian plum, cedar, and cured tobacco, with herbal undertones of dried herbs and mint. On the palate it is full-bodied and structured, with cashmere-like tannins, fresh acidity, and layers of dark fruit, chocolate, and spice. It pairs beautifully with braised meats and hearty, saucy dishes.
