Wild Alaskan black cod (sablefish) marinated in authentic Hikari miso from Nagano, Japan. This premium sablefish is sustainably caught from deep Alaskan waters using hook and line methods, then immediately harvested, cleaned, and iced onboard fishing vessels to preserve its ocean-fresh flavor and velvety texture. The fish is prepared in collaboration with 4th generation Hikari Miso craftsmen, using miso crafted in the mountainous alps region of Japan with pure spring water from the Japanese Alps.

Each 30 oz (1.875 lb) package contains five individually wrapped skin-on, bone-in portions weighing approximately 6 oz each. The miso marinade provides the perfect balance of sweetness and umami, complementing the naturally buttery, melt-in-your-mouth texture that black cod is famous for.

Multiple cooking methods are supported including air fry (400°F for 15 minutes recommended), broil and bake, sear and bake, or grill. Cook to an internal temperature of 145°F for perfect results. Note that as with whole fish portions, some small bones may be present.
