Lagavulin 11 Year Offerman Edition is the fourth limited-release collaboration between Diageo's iconic Islay distillery and actor and whisky enthusiast Nick Offerman. This expression is an 11-year-old Islay single malt Scotch whisky that received an additional 8-month finish in casks that previously held Caribbean rum, bottled at 46% ABV (92 proof).

On the nose, the whisky opens with mossy, vegetal peat and iodine alongside notes of chili pepper, citrus, creme brulee, browned butter, and blossom honey, with hints of salt and lime developing as it sits. The palate delivers bright smoke, biscuity sweetness, black pepper, charred wheat toast, vanilla, and salt, all at a very approachable drinking strength. The finish is long and warming, with ashy smoke, char, and lingering salt.

This limited release builds on the success of three prior Offerman Editions — the original unfinished release (2019), a Guinness cask finish (2021), and a charred oak maturation (2022). The rum cask finish adds a layer of tropical sweetness that complements Lagavulin's signature peat-driven character without overwhelming it. This whisky is a Costco-exclusive offering, making it a standout value for fans of heavily peated Islay Scotch.
