Baker & Hamilton Cabernet Sauvignon is the second label of the acclaimed Vine Hill Ranch (VHR), produced by the Phillips family from their prized Oakville estate in Napa Valley. This Costco offering is a 6-pack of 750ml bottles.

The 2021 vintage is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon sourced entirely from the Vine Hill Ranch vineyard, aged 23 months in French oak with 85% new barrels. Winemaker Françoise Peschon, whose career includes time at Château Haut-Brion and 14 years at Araujo Estate, takes a consciously restrained approach to let the fruit speak for itself. The wine presents a medium to full body with luscious dark fruits, red florals, and savory notes of cedar and tobacco, with silky tannins that will continue to soften with age. Alcohol: 14.8%.

Baker & Hamilton offers access to Vine Hill Ranch fruit at approximately one-third the price of the flagship wine. The 2021 vintage has received 95 points from The Wine Independent and James Suckling, with Antonio Galloni of Vinous calling it "absolutely gorgeous" and hailing Baker & Hamilton as "one of Napa Valley's undiscovered jewels."
