Antiche Terre Venete Baorna Single Vineyard Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG is a premium Italian red wine from the Veneto region, produced by Antiche Terre Venete, a winery based in Verona. The "Baorna" designation refers to a specific restricted vineyard block adjacent to the winery, named after a nearby water source that contributes to the micro-climate and the wine's distinctive character. Production is limited to approximately 9,000 bottles per vintage.

The wine is crafted using the traditional appassimento method, in which harvested grapes are laid out to air-dry until they shrivel into raisins, concentrating sugars and intensifying flavors. The blend is composed of Corvinone, Corvina Veronese, and Rondinella grapes sourced from vines averaging 20 years of age, with the wine aged in oak barrels.

Deep garnet in color, the nose opens with earthy aromas of soy, fresh mulch, and roasted mushrooms, evolving in the glass to reveal layers of chocolate-covered cherries, dried fruit, tobacco, and vanilla. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and lush with a concentrated core of dark and dried fruits, soft tannins, and sweet and savory spices, finishing with a deep umami note and lingering pepper. Alcohol content is 15%. Contains sulfites. Recommended to decant at least one hour before serving in large, deep wine glasses. Pairs well with beef, lamb, game meats such as venison, and aged blue cheeses.
