The Crane Assembly Disciples Red Blend is a distinctive Napa Valley wine crafted by winemaker Kevin A. Fox, drawing from historic vineyards including the Morisoli Vineyard in Rutherford and Tofanelli Vineyard in Calistoga. The wine honors the heritage of the G.B. Crane Vineyard, one of Napa Valley's oldest, through its traditional field blend approach.
This complex red blend combines 45% Zinfandel, 17% Petite Sirah, 14% Charbono, 10% Merlot, 6% Syrah, 6% Grenache, and 2% Cabernet Sauvignon. It opens with aromas of cranberry compote, Rainier cherry, graphite, and forest floor. On the palate, bright and lively ripe raspberry and red fruit notes are complemented by subtle toasted oak, soft tannins, and a vanilla finish. Alcohol content is 15.7%.
