Farm-raised barramundi fillets, also known as Asian sea bass, ocean farmed in Vietnam by Australis Aquaculture under The Better Fish brand. Each fillet is individually vacuum-sealed to maintain freshness and prevent freezer burn. The fish are raised using sustainable seafood practices and have received Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) 4-Star Certification.
These boneless, skinless fillets feature a mild, neutral flavor profile with soft, flaky texture that cooks rapidly and stays fork-tender. The fish is guaranteed to be contaminant-free with no detectable levels of mercury, PCBs, antibiotics, hormones, or colorants. Barramundi contains the highest omega-3 fatty acids of any white fish and is low in mercury, making it a healthy seafood choice.
The fillets vary in thickness but cook evenly in just a few minutes per side. The versatile, neutral taste pairs well with a variety of seasonings and preparations, from pan-searing with butter to blackening with spices. Previously frozen and sold per pound.
